We’re pleased to let you know that from now on, we’ll meet each first Saturday of the month from 10am to 1pm to play with real drums as loud as we can!
Meetings are in the new Forest Studios in a former DSS building, now known as ForestCentre + in the sprawling office complex called Argyle House, 3 Lady Lawson St, Edinburgh.
Our practice room is opposite the Farmers’ Market on Castle Terrace – access is through the second big set of glass doors around the corner at the bottom of Lady Lawson Street – the doors nearest the castle (there is a big number 38 next to these doors). We use the first room on the right on Floor D, the ground floor.
These will be the sessions where it’ll be especially nice for newcomers to join the group as we can play really loud there!
The upcoming Saturdays will be: 6 April, 4 May and 1 June.
Should you have any question, don’t hesitate to contact us via mail: email@example.com
As we decided that the rotation between Friday and Thursday rehearsals didn’t really work out, we switched back to Thursday evenings and instead have a monthly rehearsal on Saturdays (see post above).
The next session is on Thursday 18th of April, 7-9pm
This week, practice will be at ForestCentre+ (Argyle House) from 5.30 till 7.45.
In the past weeks, we’ve been moving between members’ houses until we move into our regular space sometime in April. This means we are not publishing the locations publicly so ask that you email firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
All you need is yourself!
